For lovers of gelato, cannoli and other sweet treats, Ragusa Ibla is not to be missed.  Local arancini balls and scacce ragusane are also on the menu for me.

A spotless apartment perfectly situated for exploring Ragusa.  The wrap around veranda with stunning views over Ibla is the perfect spot to relax.

Mt Etna was gently puffing white smoke into the air.  Occasionally a more belligerent puff of dark grey smoke would appear, just to remind us that it was in control.

Only 3km from Catania airport, this was a really convenient hotel for our late arrival.
