Our holiday was almost marred at security when Colin discovered he'd put the Vegemite in his hand luggage instead of the suitcase and it was confiscated!!! Thankfully one of the duty free stores sells Vegemite so even at their vastly inflated prices we still bought a jar. Then off to my usual start to any international flight - gelato at the Qantas club. Today I choose peach sorbet and it is delicious. Lunch is next as our flight doesn't leave till 4pm. Duck with lentils, broccolini and onion. Delicious. Dessert - another gelato of course, this time hazelnut. Our Qantas flight was on one of their new A330's and business class is amazing. The seats have lap-sash seatbelts and turn into fully flat beds. I always find it hard to watch a movie, especially if I have a window seat, but the new screens have a small sensor at the top which can change the brightness of the screen depending on the light in the cabin. So I could actually enjoy watching movies.
