Lockdown in the Garden
Having explored many of the world's most beautiful gardens, Versailles and Chateau de Villandry in France, Butchart Gardens in Canada, Crathes Castle, Scotland, Volksgarten garden, Hofburg Palace, Austria, Powerscourt, Ireland, Villa Carlotta and Villa Taranto, Italy, I love spending time in my own garden. During five weeks of lockdown because of the coronavirus epidemic, my favourite place has been my garden. Pruning the roses, playing with six months old kittens Biggles and Millie - such time-wasters, and just being outside in the brilliant autumn sunshine have been the best therapy for me. Autumn is my favourite season of the year.
