Jellybean Pool, Glenbrook

More Reflections

It is a perfect day for visiting Jellybean pool at Glenbrook.  Warm and sunny and not a cloud in the sky.  We walk along the bush track and down some stairs onto the sand.  The water sparkles in front of us and the reflections are stunning.  A toddler is paddling in the water while her mum sits on the sand watching her.  Another little girl comes down the stairs with her mum.  What a lovely place for a playdate and picnic.   We wander along the sand and find a place to sit to enjoy our morning tea.  Perfect!

Jellybean pool is accessed via the Glenbrook entrance to the Blue Mountains National Park.  Glenbrook is a one hour drive from Sydney.  It's a beautiful spot for a picnic.  The beaches are sandy, the water is calm and clear, and there are lots of shady areas under the gum trees.   Park fees apply.   See www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au for up-to-date information on opening times and park entry fees.
