Mont Tremblant is a ski resort in the Laurentian mountains, 90 minutes by bus north-west of Montreal. The architecture and bright colours of the buildings reminded me of Disneyland! Our hotel is right at the bottom of the chairlift for the downhill skiers and at the top of the main street. It is perfectly placed. There are lots of little boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops and skiwear shops to explore. The frozen lake has a path all the way around it. Although not much more than 500m, it is a really pleasant walk.
