Glenbrook Gorge
It's only a kilometre down to the creek and another kilometre back up so a very short bushwalk. What I need though, is the calf workout - 180 stairs down and 180 back up! By the time I'm almost at the bottom, I can hear the sound of water running over the rocks in the creek. At the bottom, I can see the tiny waterfall through the branches of a fallen tree. One day I'll bring some bread and string and see if I can catch a yabby or two!! It's a little muddy when I reach the bottom but I walk a little way along till I have a clear view across the creek. I'm always looking for reflections! Then it's time for the climb out! 180+ steps! But I stop several times for some photos today. This is, after all, one of my favourite gym workouts!
